Rejoice, India: soon your 1.2 billion citizens will be able to buy locally licensed and developed Game of Thrones merchandise through Mumbai-based firm Black White Orange Brands (no relation to the Assassin’s Guild hall). After working for over a year to close the deal with HBO, Black White Orange CEO Bhavik Vora is hoping that the merchandise will bring in between $35 and $40 million in sales during the first two years of the exclusive deal. And unlike other Game of Thrones- related distribution deals, this one will allow the company to develop its own set of products, as opposed to distributing previously existing merchandise sold in other countries.
